FAQS

Do you do piercings?

No, sorry we do not pierce. We do have some good recommendations for local piercers, so give us a call.

Can I book an appointment through this website?

We can book consultation appointment through the website, but the appointment for your actual tattoo requires a non-refundable deposit so it will need to be booked directly with your artist, in person at the shop, or over the phone.

How do I prepare for my tattoo appointment?

Make sure you eat and stay hydrated. No alcohol or drugs. Make sure to inform your artist of any medical conditions that may affect you, the tattoo application, or the healing process.

Can I bring friends/family to my appointment?

Friends and family are welcome to come along. However, we only allow 1 person into the tattoo area with the client at a time. We have a great lobby area for everyone to be comfortable while they wait their turn.

How old do you have to be to get a tattoo?

In Washington, it’s the law that you be 18 or older to get tattooed. Have your ID ready.

How much does it cost?

We have a $100 shop minimum. All tattoos done in one sitting will be priced by the piece. Large, multi-session work is priced at $150 per hour. Your consultation is free, more specific pricing will be discussed, and you are able to place a deposit to hold your time slot and have your tattoo drawn. The deposit will be deducted from the total cost. Tips are always appreciated, but not expected. Major credit cards accepted, but cash is king!

Can I cover up an existing tattoo?

We do cover-ups! Please come to the shop in person or email your artist for a consultation so we can assess the existing tattoo and discuss ideas with you.

Does it hurt?

Tattoos range from mild discomfort to something more intense, depending on location and personal pain tolerance. During the healing process, you can sometimes expect redness, warmth, mild swelling, and possibly even minor bruising for a few days afterward. It’s best to avoid strenuous activity whenever possible (skip the gym). Please see our ‘aftercare’ section.

Do I have to have an appointment?

We don’t require an appointment, but some custom tattoos may require more drawing time, so an appointment would be recommended. We also take walk-ins on a first-come, first-served basis.

I’ve made an appointment. Can I reschedule?

Absolutely, as long as you give us 24-hour notice, your appointment can be rescheduled without the loss of your $50 deposit. If you no-show your appointment or cancel within 24 hours of your appointment time, the deposit is forfeited.

What if my tattoo needs touched-up?

We offer a free touch-up appointment. This can be booked after the tattoo is completely healed, generally after 1 month. No charge within the first year.

What is in the ink/can I be allergic to it?

Alcohol, glycerin, and powdered pigments. We pride ourselves in using only top-quality inks. Despite this, some individuals may be sensitive to certain tattoo pigment. Talk with your artist if you have any concerns.
